Presidents Message:
Welcome!
I would really like to thank all of the Officers, Committee Chairs and Members who have made this past year so successful. Membership has increased, many extremely informative and fun presentations were given, and all of those exciting digs. This coming year is shaping up to be another great year.
Our dig and presentation schedules for the year are almost complete. Our youth membership has also increased, a great way to introduce young people to the art, beauty and fun of our society.
Don't forget the Star-O-Lite, our society newsletter. Over the past year the quality of our newsletter has reached what I consider to be of world class quality. Thanks to John for all his great work.
Now is the time when we gear up for the Annual Aiken - Augusta Gem and Mineral Show. I would like to make a call out to the membership for help with this monumental challenge. There are many ways that you can help. Material for grab bags, demonstrators, membership table, treasure dig, front checkin are just a few of the things where help is needed. Set Up for the show is Thusday October 11, 2010 9:00 am until.... Any help would be really appreciated! Click on the links on the right for more info.
I know that in the coming year there will be challenges. I also know that we are capable of overcoming these hurdles life throw.

Thank you all again for the things you do!!

Chris

PS The newsletters have been posted through 2009.
